Hi. We are self isolating at los collados aguilas. We are from the north of England and owned our apartment for 2 years.

How are you coping with the lockdown? My time clock is out of sync   I'm not sleeping.

Take care x

I just saw your post and I wanted to say hello and show my support to you. I´m Spanish and I lived in Manchester  for one year quite a long time ago. I finished my degree in English overthere and I work as an English teacher at the moment.

This lockdown has been very hard and being abroad in a foreign country may have not been easy. You may have had a lot of worries ans axieties during these days and I want to show my concern and I would like to know how you have been coping with it.

I would also like to share with you something that has helped me cope with isolation. Here you have the link to a very good stuff with a lot of useful pieces of advise on how to cope with isolation. I hope it maybe useful for you too.

Things have changed a little since your comment but I have just discovered this forum. So maybe you are feeling much better now and you may have been able to make new friends thanks to this forum.

Big hug to you and feel free to get back to me. If there is something you may need and it´s in my hands to do it, I will be happy to help

Aww thank you, that’s a really lovely message!

I think I am feeling a little better with everything, the start was just quite overwhelming but COVID now feels like everyday life. My parents boat has been cancelled three times but we hoping they coming back next month.

hope you are well and safe during these crazy time. Gardening is helping me though it all :)

Hello Abbi,

Thank you for your reply and your good wishes. My family and I are keeping well and due to the fact my work has continued despite the lockdown I have kept myself busy and the situation has not been that hard to cope with..... although a bit stressed out from time to time because of having to be indoors all the time.....not even allowed to go out for exercise!

But now things are changing and since we have been allowed to go out for other things besides the esssential.... much better.

Hope your parents can travel soon and all the family can be gathered together again!

And no doubt gardening has been helping you .....check this article out: Gardening is Good for You, you maybe surprised of how many benefits you can obtain from gardening....

Let me know your opinion about the article, I think is quite interesting.

Bye...
