Any of the Bars, Restaurants or Coffee Shops in town. Alandalus & Titanium on Valle del Sol or Cabezo Negro on the road to the Sanctuary. No one particular place but the Alandalus on a Thursday, Noel & Fi run a Bingo evening.  Various get togethers to support local Dog Charity & MABS are held around the various Restaurants.

The Town Hall has a Spring Walking Programme, if you go to nexo.nr, an English online local newspaper, it has details for the wlaks.

There is also a group called WARM - Walks Around Region of Murcia and they have regular walks hosted by members and have a variety of nationalities within the group.

I am sorry that I don't have info on Motorbike or Car Clubs - think they are mainly on the Coast.  Iknow a resident on Valle del SOl belongs to the Jaguar Owners Club but again, based in Torreveija, I believe.

Don't know about a Rugby Club - residents here may be a bit past it !!!!

I presume there are  quite a few Spanish Clubs or Societies in the Town, I am sure you could find out when here and ask around..

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Thanks for the info. The walking clubs would probably be our thing , bit long in the tooth for anything sporting.

Will check it all out when relocate.

Totally different subject now but maybe I can pick your brains.

Been checking out if leasing a car is better than actually owning. What do the other expats do ?

Thankyou

Michael & Karen

P.S

My wife is convinced when she saw your photo that we spoke to you outside of Consum last week  . Im not sure.

Most Brits buy their cars here but some friends of ours are thinking of leasing and I did not know it existed in Spain.

Next time I see them I will ask on your behalf and get back to you.

RE Consum:   Maybe we did talk as I do most of the Shopping - cheaper & quicker - must admit sometimes I wonder what I have been doing an hour ago let alone a week ! so sorry I can't remember but if it happens again we will have to exchange names and I will to put that into the memory bank.....

Take care guys.

Rick
