Hi

We are looking at moving to Camposol full time for early retirement.  What monthly costs can we expect?  There is just 2 of us and we like the size of the Rebecca villas.

Any info would be welcome.  It's all very overwhelming at this early stage!

If you buy outright.. (No mortgage) then a minimum of €1,500 per month should be OK..

I’m in the same boat sharon.

Bought a place a couple of years ago and now looking to move within next 12 months. We are not retired though like yourself so you’ll save on health insurance as you won’t need to pay that

This is my MONTHLY budget plan:

Electric bill - 100

Water bill - 50

Food - 200

Petrol - 70

Health insurance - 100

IBI tax - 50

Car insurance & tax - 30

Mobile phone and internet 50

Home insurance 20

All jokes aside...the only things that are cheeper in Spain are council tax/ fags / and none branded booze ...everything else is more expensive or the same...if you shop in the likes of Asda or Morrison's back in the UK then you are in for a big shock.

Maybe Camposol is more expensive than here but eating out is much cheaper..9€ for 4 course meal with wine and coffee!!! Fruit and veg from markets much cheaper and much better....coffee 1.20€.... and lots of other things.......only thing thats more expensive is electricity!!
