It hasnt been cancelled its been moved to the sportcentre on La Dorada,

Ahh yes on the Council website .... this 

October 12 the traditional Calderos, "the cauldrons" will be held at the Municipal Sports Center because the beaches are not open to the public and does not have the necessary security conditions for the event. This new location not only meets the requirements for space and conditioning, but also symbolizes the work that is being carried out for the recovery of Los Alcázares, and that this sports facility is located in the zero zone of the floods.
