Job vacancy: Care assistant

I worked for the NHS for 41 yrs both in primary & secondary care. It appears, there are no community nurses or carers here. They have cancer nurses who only go home for symptom control, support etc  Relatives are expected to give personal care, injections etc with limited instruction. Working as a nurse or carer for an agency is peanuts. Relying on getting private care is word of mouth or hit & miss.  My advice is think carefully. I have lived here for over 5 years & thankfully retired.  The NHS, often criticised is ‘Simply the best’.  Good luck.
