There are definitely English speaking people in Sucina.  We have just bought a new villa and the only neighbour I have spoken to is English and she told me there are more.

As you get older it becomes more difficult to learn another language and you don't find too many English people speaking spanish unless they were raised here. This is the reason we opted to settle in Camposol, about 90% Brits. Everybody here speaks English and we have all the facilities you could need, some people never go outside the urbanisation.

I have a house in Sucina and live there about 4 months of the year. Virtually all my neighbors on the urbanization are English and I would guess there are in well in excess of 200 Brits here and a further 150 on the two very local golf complexes.

Most of the local shops can cope with English speakers and all the cafes and bars also have English friendly staff, some struggle a little to understand us but there is usually somebody on Hand to help out.

WIthout the British there, Sucina might be a sad little place. I think they appreciate our business and I believe the Brits treat the locals with great respect and have helped make Sucina a vibrant village.

Hi, there is a great expat community and you will not be short of people to talk too. There are all sorts of activities from coach trips and Ladies and Gents lunches every month.  They have quiz nights and just popping out for a coffee there will always be people to have a chat with.

The local community centre does free Spanish lessons and the Spanish come to learn English too. The Spanish community are very friendly and appreciate any attempt to speak with them and they like to practise their English too. The centre also runs dance classes too.

There is ladies net ball every week, bums and tums and line dancing classes and the ladies meet for coffee afterwards.

There is so much more and the community are really helpful and friendly.
