Hi, we have a villa near Pinoso which was broken into on Christmas Day 2017. Police from Abanilla attended and we duly claimed on our Linea Directa insurance but they have turned the claim down for some unknown reason. I now have to somehow get hold of the police report they did following their visit on Christmas Day. Does anyone have any contact details (preferably an email address) for the Abanilla Police Station?

Thanks

Hi, I am so sorry to hear your bad news.  I have only just joined the Forum and realise that your query is 3 years old.  I was wondering whether you actually found an email address for the police in Abanilla as I need it for a complaint.  The funny thing is, the policeman at the station wrote down the email address for me but it actually doesn't work!!

I hope that you do not have such a horrible experience again.

Hi, no we didn’t ever find an email address. Not had any problems since we installed a 24/7 alarm system so fingers crossed.

Don't understand why this is on as it is over 3 years old but if still relevant my feelings and experience here is that the police are not interested in break ins unless there is violence they seem to just issue a crime number for your insurance claim and do no more not even taking prints where there are things that most definitely are likely to have prints on them

And as for the claim I do sympathise but as with all insurance if they are able to find a loop hole to climb through then climb they will

Have been in that situation and same as you got nothing back

Hope you get somewhere
