Access to foodbank

I run a community food assistance group for families whose income has been lost due to lock down. We have a translator who has helped our families register with Social Services/Town Hall in order to access a foodbank. This has cost us over 100 euros in charges. The process was started over six weeks ago but we are no further forward. The Town Hall said they were too busy to discuss it but would send out letters to our families which have not materialised. Evidently other districts like Totana help their families in need much quicker. Our money for food has been gifted by very caring people but we cannot keep asking for more. Did not realise it would take this long. This is our 3rd food initiative!!!
