Hi Alex, saddened by your news, and condolences to you and your family I lost my wife to pancreatic cancer aged just 47 three years ago It is a vicious horrible disease for anyone of any age to go through, and also painful for surrounding friends and family that leaves us so bereft.

It is indeed testament you Jan that she has been so influencial in the community, and long may she be fondle remembered.

I started looking at this area of Spain with the intention of spending the winters there and found Jan's forum invaluable. In fact every time I have a question I say that I am going to ask my friend Jan! Even though I never met Jan she has been of great help. I have only made a small donation of £3 but if we all give a little it will make a huge difference. So sorry for your loss. x

Hi Alex,

I am so sorry to hear about your lost and all my condoléances to you and your family. I have joined this forum since I bought my property in corvera back in September 2019 and your mum forum was a good network to start. I didn’t have a chance to meet your mum or to speak to her but I certainly believed your mum forum did helped me and I am sure it did help other people. I am glad you are willing to continue the legacy of your as I am sure she would loved you to continue. I wish you a best of luck and please any update about corvera county club community.
