We've deliberately eaten in local Spanish restaurants since we arrived in June, but if you fancy a little taste of England now and again, I can thoroughly recommend the Bombay Indian (irony) restaurant in Banos de Fortuna, on Las Kalendas development.

9.50€ for the evening menu - free poppadoms, starter, main course with rice.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Only downside is that they don't take cards

Also in Banos is the Puerta Grande which has a great choice of dishes - if I remember, the evening menu is 12€ and again, lovely terrace and excellent service.

Having holidayed in Los alcazares for a few years now theres a few I could recommend starting with our favourite which is bacchus, run by a swedish couple who are really warm and welcoming and there food speaks for itself. Another of our favourites for an indian meal would be the gurkha dubar , nepalese place and its awesome, a must try if you are in the area. For breakfast it has to be the pasty shack or red lion if like myself you like a full english to start your day  I hear good things about bentleys (opp red lion) so will be giving that a try when we move in dec.

El Pimiento in Aguilas town for delicious tapas, great service and value for money. (No cards though)
