We love Bolnuevo and intend lots of time there as we intend spending time in the city of Murcia. So it's understandable you differentiate from Camposol which has facilities Bolnuevo does not have .

We actually did rent for a short while before going ahead but I do agree some of section C needs serious attention it would be unfair not to say that. I truly hope you have a better time in Bolnuevo which we think is lovely.

We are not buying on C and have met some of the neighbours we will have on our section they are lovely and helpful. 

You have a right to say what you feel but I genuinely think that overall Camposol is good value and not cheap the past is well documented but I think with effort of everyone there things are going the right way for the urbanisation.

My experience is nowhere is perfect anywhere.

Would appreciate your reasons for having such a dislike of Camposol, it would be extremely helpful for the like of us souls who are about to, or are thinking of retiring to Camposol?

That was  well written and to the point it is also something to be aware of for us willing to take a chance on it . There are properties on Camposol that are relatively expensive but also some cheap property . 

I will give your comments thought and it sounds like real cohesive action needs to be structured and implemented in the area for it to go forward that is it needs some fresh energy.

Well, yes, he is sort of correct. The ongoing wrangle continues as to who should be footing the bill for bringing Camposol up to standard. The CRA and our councillor Silvana are fighting to get region ( not the local council, not enough money) to fund this. To find out where we stand, please contact them.   

It says a lot about Des1000, that he was quite happy to con someone else into buying his property on C and then escape. Or did he give it away? 

. I realise that at some point we will become the community of owners as happens on other urbanisations. However, normally the urbanisation has been finished and is up to specification.  This has not happened. That is why the CRA has been fighting so hard. 

I did question your original opposing views on Camposol Des, only just resumed on this thread. As ever, a very evocative subject and half expected the tindered responses. It has however provoked the right responses for people in my position while property hunting, both for and against a life on an Urbanisation such as Camposol. 

I agree with the comparison with the Irish property bubble, 'post popping';   Swaithes of 'ghost estates' (Urbanisations) is what I saw when purchasing here in 2014. Those developments,  in the main however, are now adopted and fully occupied and maintained by local authorities.   I don't see any reason why Camposol shouldn't receive the same 'European' treatment.  All victims of unscrupulous builders and bad banking practices. 

I'm still drawn to the area, despite any negative points learned about Camposol, I see so much more it has to offer a retiree.  I hope you're happy in your new place by the sea, I'll soon be able to decide for myself which opinions outweigh others.
