Mapre refusals to pay out
Just got a letter from mapre, again in Spanish so had to google translate it, told them many times to send in English, anyway had a water damage claim in twice, they come twice they refused to pay for repairs twice, do I just called them from Uk to find out why tans they said they do not. Over water damage even though my policy says they do, so after a lot off me explaining why do I need to pay you insurance money if you don’t pay out as most insurance claims will be water damage as no proper drainage in streets, so told them to. It renew my policy as was told you have to give Spanish insurance companies 2 months notice to cancel a policy, so pleased to say they are upset that I refuse to renew a crap policy, and now waiting for a Uk company to cell me back as they cover Spanish property for water damage, mapre said no Spanish company covers for my type off water damage, so they have lost my custom and hopefully a lot more that have had problems with them paying out, so insure through a Uk company hopefully you will get damage repaired, and hopefully they will change their robbing no pay out policies, moan over.
