I am having trouble with booking a flight on Ryanair using Compusurf internet.

If I disconnect Compusurf & use mobile data on my phone I can make a booking.

Bizarre

Hi all

We have been considering a golf property for some time and would like some honest opinions about owning a property on the condado de Albans resort.

I would like to know a bit more about:

Resort facilities

Security

Site community

Site communal fees

Is the resort well maintained

Golf course fees

Best nearest town with good facilities

I would really appreciate your comments

Thanks & regards

Rob

Hi Rob.

My advice is to spend some time there first, there are many people who rent out there properties through either Condado invest or Military breaks.

Realistically at the moment you would not get a good insight into what Condado is really like due to restrictions.

To answer some of your questions though, yes it is well maintained and secure, at present the golf course is closed, facility wise there are many bars and restaurants on site that get very busy in normal circumstances.

Nearby towns include Alhama de Murcia, Mazzaron,Murcia, Cartegena, 10 minutes away is Camposol which also has a golf course which is open, there are numerous bars and restaurants on A + B sector with lots of entertainment choice.

Camposol is an Urbinization with a heavy British Community plus other nationals from Europe, however it's totally different to Condado in as much as it doesn't have security and there are no site fees.

Both communities have there pros and cons, we're lucky in as much as we have a property on both, and like both equally, so before you make any decision I would look around both those areas.

There is one thing that you can't ignore though and that is, it's imperative to have a car, although you can get about to places by public transport it's more convenient to own a car.

I hope this helps you a bit.

Morning Gary

Most helpful, thank you.

We are planning a visit (Covid permitting) in 2021 to get the feel of the place. We stayed at Hacienda Requiem near Sucina last Xmas but found the town had little to offer in terms of restaurants, bars & supermarkets etc etc. Hence us looking further afield. Driving isn't an issue as we simply hired a car to get around, and really enjoyed the vibrance that Cartagena had to offer.

Hi Rob.

I'm glad you found it helpful, what type of property are you considering and if I may ask what sort of price range were you looking at as they have already finished one block of new builds on Condado and are in the process of building more.

We were fortunate enough to view on at the on site showroom and they are surprisingly nice may be worth looking into those too, these should be on the Condado invest website.

One thing I will say is when Condado is in normal circumstances it's a most enjoyable and friendly place, fairly central to numerous other towns and cities.

Good luck with your property hunt it can be very exciting but also completely different experience to the UK.
