just get your family to stock up on some food and some sachets of salt and pepper! ...the food is awful (specially for a vegetarian!) and decaf coffee only...🤮
OMG! Looks like I will be losing a lb or two then!

I've no idea what the policy is this year due to Covid but up here in the NW our nearest hospital is at Caravaca. In the past it has been usual for the nursing staff to expect a relative to stay to help with basic care. I imagine that has probably changed this year because of the lurgy.

The expectation, pre-Covid is that family will stay if the patient needs help getting to the bathroom etc.or help feeding themselves etc.
Does anyone have any first hand experience in current Covid-19 situation?

Yes, Los Arcos won't kick you out if family is not there.
However there is a good flipside, it does mean family can come in at any time of day or night, and there is in Los Arcos an extendable chair, pillow and blankets, if you want to stay or both patient and family want to have a siesta.
Staying until mid-night or coming back in at 6am is all acceptable.
And you can take food and beverage in, as long as the patient is not Nil by mouth.
But what are the current visitor regulations in this Covid 19 situation?
