Hi

Los Alcazares belongs to the Region of Murcia.

Here on this Forum : “Coronavirus Discussion”  I copy the link to Adrian Cockings broadcasts (Monday & Friday 4pm Spanish time) the latest regulations. (The rules & regulations and changing nearly every week) When Adrian broadcast a Question & Answer (Q&A) I put it in the headline.

This is the link to the Boletin Oficiale de la Region de Murcia: (in Spanish only) copy the text to “google translate”

The current restrictions are that we are free to move about the town but must wear a face-mask and we cannot leave the town boundaries to travel into adjoining towns, until further notice. The original two weeks of this was extended for a further two weeks and there is talk that this might be further extended to cover the "Puente de la Constitución/Puente de la Inmaculada, which is the two day holiday on the 6th and the 8th of December and which is often joined together to make a 3 day "puente" (bridge). As this is a time when families often get together, travel outside people's own municipios could be banned this year, to give the current lockdown more time to stop the virus from circulating. We also have a nightly curfew from 11p.m until 7 a.m. and bars and restaurants are closed for table service, whether inside or on the terrace and can now only offer takeaway or pick-up services. Hopefully, this will revert to "normal" after those dates. As posted above, updates are available from those links.
