One way flights!
Hi, we have just received our NLV visa, we were hoping to flight out to murcia from UK in about 2 weeks, can we just book our flight one way as not sure how long we'll be there for or do you need to have a return flight?

You can book a one way flight no problem at all.

Thanks for that
You can book a one-way flight - however, technically you can be asked to show that you have a return flight booked, proof of where you are staying and that you have enough money to fund your stay (which is classed as €100 per day). See link below.
That said, no-one I know has ever been challenged on these issues.

I think the NLV, meaning that the OP is making a permanent move to Spain and has already proved the financial means to do so, negates the need for any of this. In fact, I think that having a return ticket would be more likely to raise eyebrows. With a NLV you are only allowed to spend a limited time outside of Spain within the first 5 years.

Yes you can book a one way flight no problem.
Ryanair tend not to charge you any extra, but Jet 2 and easyJet do on a lot of occasions, so check the flight prices.
Jet 2 add a lot for a one way flight especially from Spain.
As for a one way ticket, you have good reason for this, but they are very relaxed including proving funds for your stay
So just be aware.

Thank you, have booked one way with Ryanair & yes I noticed that the others bump up the price!
