Have just registered at Los alcázares salud for my health card having moved from cabo Roig (Valencia) sip card. went to farmacia and none of my medication is on this card paperwork,how do I get medication transferred and also a hospital appointment,can anyone help,thanks

The system is different here. Prescriptions are not accessed using the SIP card, but a printout with a bar code on. If you have a digital certificate you can go on to the patient portal of the health service murcia and see what is on your list and when the next batch is due. Your GP may need to see you and agree what is prescribed for you and should also be able to print out a sheet for you.

Hi Peter thanks does that mean Dr can arrange a hospital appointment from my old drs as well ,have a cancer check up mid june

All referrals to hospital specialists start with your GP (as in the UK). Take as much info as you can about your health (and an interpreter if you are not at least reasonably fluent)
