On Wednesday night my friends wife had her handbag snatched by a young man who made his escape on bicycle. This happened on the palm treed boulevard close to to hotel playa De Los narejos. He also told me that mugging was rife in the el Divino area and of an attack resulting in a broken nose on the mar mentor waterfront.

Then I hope every incident is reported to the police. They should show an interest as the area can do without people being put off to visit.
