Anyone know why there are so few taxi’s at Rank in Los Alcazares?
It used to be easier being able to phone San Javier cabs at night back to Roda - since it was stopped it’s impossible to get a taxi home these days.
Los Alcazares don’t appear to have enough Taxi’s to provide for amount of people who come to the town!
Anyone else finding it a poor service?

We have just holidayed there and are planning to move permanently next year. We had the same problem, there only seems to be the one company with a couple of cars. We and other people were regularly waiting over an hour to be picked up at night.

Hopefully this will sort out with taxi service. It’s crazy that people can be dropped off in their local taxi’s but have to use Los Alcazares for their return journey!!

Maybe the illegal ones taking money that should go into the local economy are not helping?

There are 12 registered Taxis in Los Alcázares.
In the summer peak in August they are overwhelmed, as they are in all popular coastal tourist hotspots, but come February when there is 1/8th of the summer numbers, they are underwhelmed.
What would you suggest could be sensibly done about it?

What would you suggest could be sensibly done about it?
The taxi ranks all seem to have the same telephone number on them, so it's nice to know there are more, I assume we'll have to Google the others then.

What would you suggest could be sensibly done about it?
Given the amount of new properties being built and that the area’s economy is boosted by people from various locations I don’t know why people can’t book return journeys from their local taxi provider.
This would allow the 12 taxi’s to service locals.

What would you suggest could be sensibly done about it?
Book a GetTransfer.com.com insured and will turn up.mo2020. Quite often the return trip don’t show long way to go for a one way taxi….

Just ring the number on the taxi rank - notice board above the seating area and they will come out x
