Hi,

One of my cats has an injury and I need to take her to Clínica Veterinaria Puerto de Mazarrón.  We live near Cañada de Gallego and I have no vehicle and can't even dream of paying for a taxi.

If anyone had the time and volition, I'd be so grateful.

The vet's is open from 10:30 to 14:00 today, and 10:30 to 14:00 then 17:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday.

I want to go there as I'm horribly poor and I spoke with the MAMAS animal charity who said they work with that clinic.

The cat appears to have had a fall or a fight or a not entirely successful escape from trouble or something, and what was a very small lump on her side (like a big insect bite) on Wednesday is getting bigger (much bigger, now its bigger than a jaffa cake, really noticeable lump on her flank) and she is on her feet but obviously in pain and therefore not behaving normally.  As she had a badly-healed broken rib when I adopted her 4 and a 1/2 years ago, I wonder if a fall or scuffle hasn't undone all the healing of these past years.

I know it's 'cheeky' as it's a time-consuming rigmarole for anyone else but I'm desperate for this animal to be attended to as she definitely needs it and I can't think of any other way of getting her to the vet's under my current circumstances.

Many thanks if you can spare the time - Poppy's really good and nice, a very cuddly, loving cat, so at least she deserves a good Samaritan's help.

Good morning

Please do not get me wrong, however all of your posts are begging for help, food lifts etc.

When you moved to Spain you must have known your financial situation and if this has declined why have so many animals? most people that cannot afford to keep an animal would explain and have them rehomed in an animal shelter.

Many people are suffering through the ever increasing costs all of our disposable income is reducing and I would assume that you do not have to pay taxes as many of us do.

Perhaps you should rethink about living here and move back to England where you would be able to claim all the benefits you require.

I give to the local and national charities who as far as I know distribute the donations and gifts they receive in a methodical fashon to the needy.
