Am thinking of buying a property in Costa Calida.  Primarily to rent out in high season and live in over the low season. Where is the rent potential good as well as not too quiet and isolated in the winter. Somewhere on the coast or walking distance to a beach…generally a nice friendly area for a retiree couple with kids and grandkids to visit and enjoy

Thanks

Its not that “we” have to “live” there – Its YOU……..

I suggest that you come down here and spent the “rainy” days here to find the right place for you.

Another factor is the budget…… (searching with fotocasa.es or kyreo.es give you some ideas)

Wikipedia says:

The Costa Cálida is the approximately 250 km stretch of Mediterranean coastline of the Spanish province of Murcia. This region has a micro-climate which features comparatively hot mean annual temperatures and a relative degree of aridity

I think to get to know Costa Calida this is a good guide

My understanding was that she asked “us” where to live but I think she has to find out for herself……

OK she will be renting out – but – it’s her property/investment/money and she has to feel “at home”.

There are so many factors to consider:

Near the Airports? Which one….RMU or ALC?

What aera is nice in off season…..I know minimum of 5

What aera is attracted to the “holiday” customer? Culture, Disco, Pubs, scenery?

What comes to your mind………..
