Walking.
Is it still Okay to walk to the bank ?
Only things are changing so rapidly it's hard to keep up.

As long as your need to go is urgent and important enough to justify your trip. If it is a long distance I think you should drive or take a taxi so there is no suspicion that you are using it as an excuse for a walk.
Be prepared to be shouted out or spat upon by the ignorant.

Plenty of reports of this - in the UK as well as Spain. One Mercadona employee suffered this whilst walking to work, so now wears her uniform so the knuckle-draggers can see she works in an essential service.
On the original point I wonder why anyone would need to go to a bank, when virtually everything can be done by smartphone apps? You can even deposit cash at an ATM.

Maybe going to the bank to withdraw cash from the ATM?
Not all small food shops take a card, our fruitiera for instance

In the UK shops are now refusing to take cash.
They will only accept payment by card.

Just check if the bank is the nearest ATM to you - keep your eyes peeled as there have been reports of the slime robbing ATM users, as they are of course on their own.

There are occasions when cash is necessary. For example, as we are elderly or 3rd generation as they say in Spain, our neighbours are helping us stay clear of the supermarket by doing some shopping for us. I dont think they are in a position to take card payments.
