Evening Everyone

At the moment I’m thinking of buying a property in Southern Spain and I came across Valle Del Sol,I’m quite happy to live in the countryside and drive to the coast when I feel like it.

The property I’m interested in has no habitation license but I believe this to be true for a few properties in this area (I stand to be corrected if this is not the case)

I do not need a mortgage to purchase the property so that is one of the issues out of the way as I believe they are not mortgageable.

I would like the input of anyone who lives in this area, pros, cons etc and is there a chance one day that these homes could receive a demolition order,Will I be able to transfer the electricity into my name,is the internet good,is there a good water supply and so on,what are the pros and ons etc.

I know it’s a bit long winded but I really want to be sure before committing

Thanks Sean

Roz

Hi Sean we live in Aqua y Sol it’s in the Valle de sol area nearer the rm19 , we love it because we have 3 dogs the houses are fairly big 3 bedrooms and a good garden and as far as I know they all have habitation certificates. Would check tho with your lawyer, We have a good mixture of Britain’s and Spanish . Hope this helps finding something as we were warned off the Valle de sol itself as there was a lot of illegally built houses x
