I have just visited my property for the first time in a couple of years with the intention of trying to sell it. I've noticed on the balcony there is an awful lot of bird poo (and I mean a lot, I think the birds have been nesting). I started trying to clean it today but it soon became clear that there is so much of it, plus bird feathers etc, and it soon started raising clouds and despite having my face covered I felt I wasn't properly protected. There is the potential of a health hazard here and I do have reasons why I need to be careful with such things.

Does anyone know any professional company who can do an intense/industrial clean of the area please? The balcony is only about 2ft x 10ft so it's not a huge job size-wise. Any advice would be welcome please.

Sorry I cant help but just a word of warning , cleaning up bird poo releases dust that can be very harmful to your health .

You definitely need a specialist clean because as you said it could be a health hazard.  I would suggest you call Richard Winder for advice - he really is an expert and comes very highly recommended for all sorts of property cleaning.  Here are the contact details,

Mop & bucket job - hot water, a capful of Cillit Bang then give it a good soaking before tryin to mop it up. Might take a couple of changes of water.

Your next job is to hang up some sort of bird-scarer (old CDs work well) hung up high.
