Forgive my intrusion onto this thread, do you mind if I make use of this code?  If OK, a couple more questions on the subject;

How long is it valid for?

Can it be used more than once?

Can it be used towing a caravan?

Can if be used for a 7.5 ton truck on a self drive removal run?

Can it be used on  their Ireland Ship.

Yes please, you can use our code, it's valid for our whole year of membership. It can be used up to 15 times per year as we get £10 off our membership fee, (which is £150) while you get 10% off price of fare, (but not off cabins). Not many people have used it so I, m pleased if you use it more than once. It can be used on any Britanny fare.

I understood that friends/family could use the discount as a Guest, but only if the certificate holder was on the same voyage?

Makes sense really as why should they just give a discount to any Thomas, Ricardo or Enrique?

Nope, wrong, discount can be used any time on any fare so long as member is still a member. They changed some years back from having no limitations to maxm 15 uses as some clever dicks used to pass it to everyone they met and the members account literally got free fares with the amount accrued.
