It is always the first Sunday after the 17th unless the 17th falls on a Sunday.  So this year it will be the 17th November.

Hi, recently just had a holiday in Campasol and visited Balnuevo and loved it. Thinking of spending more time there to explore the area. Heard of the sardine festival which sounds amazing. The Sunday 17th 2019 is that the date of the sardine festival on the beech ??

Hi,

Sardine Sunday should be 24th. November 2019.  The Fiestas de Milagro start on 17th. November and Sardine Sunday is a week later.  https://murciatoday.com/mazarr%C3%B3n-calendar-of-annual-fiestas_8292-a.html

Hope this helps.

Hi All,

Re Sardine Sunday: A while back I posted a link to an article on the Murcia Today website about Sardine Sunday and it said that the Sardine Festival is always the Sunday after the 17th. November.  However, the Town Hall advise that although that is usually the case, if the 17th. November is a Sunday (as it is this year), then Sardine Sunday takes place on that day i.e. 17th. November.  Thought I should let everyone know.

Best wishes.

Brian

PS I have advised Murcia Today, so hopefully they will change their article.

Hi am a little confused! Is the Sardine Festival in Bolnuevo for just one day or the whole week? Thank you
