Hi all,

Just had the pool in our new house in Bolnuevo re-grouted and need to fill it, some people are saying to just fill it via a hose pipe, but my concern is the expense and if it's allowed - can anyone advise?

Or does anyone know where I can get a price for someone to do it?

Thanks

a friend had to get a tablet to deliver water.  cost was about  €275.  her solicitor told her she could not do from hose.  also it would work out cheaper with a tanker as the amount that would come off her water meter would mean the price per unit of water would go up as she had usedcso much.

We filled ours with the hose pipe. Rang the water company who told us the exact cost to fill our pool based on cubic meter. Cost us 70 euro. The tanker that a friend used for a similar size pool was 265 euros. There were no penalties for filling our own pool.

Thanks for that, I think I will phone the water company here, I think it's Aqualia, to see what they say.

We filled our 8x4 pool plus jacuzzi from the hose....much cheaper than tankers but we did get a letter from Hidrogea asking us to check for leaks as it was excessive!!!
