My beautiful Maddie who lives with friends in the Calasparra area, Murcia was stolen Saturday about half past six. She was let out with her Daughter into the garden for a run before their meal. When called in only one dog came. My friends searched the garden, house and outbuildings for Maddie and could not find her. The garden is fully enclosed with a wire mesh fence, parts set into cement. There was found a place in a secluded corner of the garden where the fence had been pulled back and signs she had been pulled through. Maddie  weighs 3.5 kilos. She is microchipped. She is 7 years old. My friend recently trimmed her coat and around her face. She was not wearing her collar.  😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔

My darling Maddie - tomorrow is your eighth birthday and I miss you dreadfully. It is almost seven months since you were stolen from my fully enclosed garden. I think of you every day and wonder where the tears still come from. 

All I can tell myself is that Maddie is well cared for and loved. If the person looking after her acts responsibly then Maddie will need to see a vet to be vaccinated- she is micro chipped- she will be identified as stolen - she will come home. ...

I also have Maddie's daughter, Nikki. She misses her mama so very much and  still sits on the patio looking towards the gate waiting for her return. 

I've contacted vets, groomers and rescue shelters, Policia and Guardia, and local radio. Seven months and I've heard nothing. I've posted on social media and joined lots of forums, anything and everything to let people know that Maddie has been stolen.  If anyone knows anything please, please contact me or Carol.
