medical professional care required

Hi David - sorry to read about your Mum's ill health and whilst I cannot provide any answers to your request, I thought you could do with some information as you are not here permanently.

As far as I am aware there are no Social Services that provide this type of help, it is regarded as a Family responsibility.  However, I have a few Sapnish friends in Calasparra who may offer some more information.  The problem may be the language barrier if a Spanish person does the care, unless of course your Mum can speak Spanish.

It may be necessary to pay - is that an option ?

Hello Rick,

Thank you for your reply, we are looking for private care and yes to be paid for. My Mum can get by I think but at this point we need a professional medical home care as she's not eating due to health issues and deteriorating very quickly. Any help / info would be much appreciated.

Hi David - is your Mum living on an Urbansiation where neighbours could help in the interim period ?

Yes she has her husband & neighbours and friends but now is beyond them being able to help and her husband needs trained team to deal with current situation. If you hear of anyone one that offers private medial care at home please feel free to let me know. Thank you David.
