My wife and i are hoping to move to calasperra in august/september and we would appreciate any information on your town either good or bad, we visited today and had a wonderful day out visiting the beautiful sancuary and enjoyed lunch at the bar negro, the only negative thing we could find is that there is no taxi service or public transport running into the nearest town or murcia, my wife and i both drive but was thinking more if we went out for an evening and wanted to drink !! Any suggestions ?

Any information would be much appreciated thanks in advance

Martin and karen.

Hi Denise.

We’re moving over in about 3 weeks so will let you know how we get on. We’ve rented a place on an urbanization about a 5min drive from town and looking forward to it very much. The town looks nice and tidy and very clean. The sanctuary just down the road is amazing and is a must for a visit if you haven’t been.

If I’m honest , this forum isn’t the best as not a lot of people are using it and information is quite hard to find but as I said, we will let you know how we get on.

Good luck and you never know we my meet up at some point.

Here’s to a new life.

Hi ya. We've not yet moved yet, about another two weeks, just doing all the packing but booked the flight for my wife and the ferry for myself and the dog. We should be there on the 28th and my wife flys in on the 29th.
