Hi everyone having read about the area and seeing some great property online can we have some further advice as we are interested in buying a holiday home which we hope to one day make permanent.

Myself and Julie would love some help in answering the few questions we have.

We have seen some lovely villas on the urbanisations which seem incredibly good value for money.

Like others have said we also have looked at camposol but I’m put off by the build quality and subsidence issues.

Are the villas well built?

Is it a secure neighbourhood are villas ok left unoccupied?

Does the area flood in heavy periods of rain as it’s near rivers and mountains run off?

Is there a local football team with a stadium to go and watch a game?

What sort of fees on top of the purchase price would we expect to pay to fully complete?

If we were buying on the private urbanisations what are the community fees like?

How many petrol stations in the town?

Sorry there are a lot of questions and we would love and welcome your help 😊

Many thanks Chris and Julie

Hi Chris & Julie

I am responding to your post, and I will be straight with you, I am in Real Estate, but please don’t hold that against me.

I would just like to impart some of my knowledge.

Are you only interested in the Calaspara área? And yes although very good value for money,I would advise against campossol.

On top of price of property we recommend to add 12% for fees & taxes.Community charges vary depending on property, area, facilities available.Once a year you have to pay IVI tax to government.

If you want to drop me an email please do on [email protected].

I look forward to hearing from you.

Samantha

Hu guys, we are going to buy a villa near Calasparra. We are going to use an Estate agent, Her name is Lynda, she has a website Called Cabla.es. She has been there for over 10yrs. Depending on your budget, you can find some nice ones, Good luck.
