Hi

Just purchased a place in Coto Rinales, Callasparra and I'd like some advice on the easiest way to pay the following:

- Non Residents Taxes - Can this be paid online annually and how?

- Local Town Council Fees (IBI) - How to I register for this and can it be done online and how? I'm concerned they post an invoice and we don't see it until its too late and we are charged late payment fees or something.

Any useful emails or contact details would be great. We can't speak Spanish either so rely on translating correspondence which isn't easy.

Thanks, Paul

Non Residents Taxes - I use Spanish Tax forms - Their charges are £34.95 to do the forms plus £12 per person if they present the forms and make the payment on your behalf. Total £58.95 plus the taxes. (They work out the amount of tax you have to pay for you)

Local Town Council Fees (IBI) - How to I register for this and can it be done online and how?  [email protected]. Send them an email stating your name, address in Spain and your NIE number and ask them to take payment by Direct debit (It is over 10 years since I set mine up so it may have changed)

Hope this helps.

Steve

Hi Paul

If you have a Solicitor over here, they can arrange to pay your Non Resident Taxes.

With regard to Local IBI Taxes, go to the Employment Office in Calle Primero Mayo in Calasparra - next to Gran Via Cafe - go to se Andreas or the girl in the office to arrange DDR or you can arrange to pay monthly, as we do.

Hope this helps.

Rick

Hi,

Do you have contact details for Spanish Tax Forms?  Are they online?

Our solicitor/accountant is charging us €100 for calculation and payment of Non Resident Tax for my wife and I.  Extortion I believe.

Thanks.

Ian

I use Angar Taxation Services based in Torrevieja, all done by email, so easy, used them for over 5years and they only charge 20€ per owner incl paying it too and returning receipt for proof. That's 40€ instead of your almost £60. Seen Spanish tax forms recommended but I didn't realise you got charged £12 each for paying. Angar are highly recommended on sister site Costa Blanca forum too. Google them and save some money.

Yes they are annual Gary. The non resident tax must be paid before Dec 31st I believe, and our case the council tax is taken in 2 direct debits
