Hello again to all,
I have read a lot about Camposol. Who lives in sector C and has bad experiences because sector C and D were allegedly built illegally and not recognised by the town hall/municipality???
Please send honest reports because we have already reserved and paid for a house in sector C.

Thank you already
Many greetings from Germany
Andy
And ... sorry for my English, I have to work with translation tools

Hi Andy,

Good luck with your purchase. Sector C is divided into 2 parts, ‘upper’ and ‘lower’. Some of the properties on Upper C, had problems with subsidence but others are fine. Would recommend a survey, irrespective five of the sector.

Some of the houses in Sector D are on the route of the Rambla and a few years ago, suffered badly during the gota fria.

There are some outstanding issues with regard to habitation certificates and physical issues with roads not being completed and the street lighting being incomplete. Work has recently taken place on the lighting but many of the issues are of long standing.

I would recommend using a lawyer who is totally independent. You can then ask for responses to specific questions you may have about the property you are buying.
good luck

Hello LeginSenoj,

Thank you very much!
The house is in the second row after the golf course (Av. de los Covachos) and curves around the communal pool (unfortunately there is no street name marked), so it is rather in the lower area.
Hopefully we will be able to sort everything out when we visit in June.

Do you know if the houses in sector C are inhabited?  In pictures everything looks so abandoned and uninhabited!
Have a nice Sunday!
Andy

Hi Andy,

By the sounds like you are probably on C6 or C10, which I believe are Monsora properties and not Masa. I live on D, but I am sure someone in that area will help you. I believe most of the Monsora houses on C have been sold, so it may be that many are holiday homes and if owned by Brits, they will not have been able to travel here, so you may think they are empty. If you are on Facebook, there are several sites dedicated to Camposol in general and sectors specifically. You may like to join one of them and be able to speak with people on the same sector.

Good luck

Hi

My wife & I own a property in Camposol Sector C (C2), in Calle Frailes. We lived there for two & a half years, before buying another on Sector A. The C2 property now has tenants on a long term let. They are happy there, as were we.

Lower C properties are OK and it's a nice area to live in.

We only moved to Sector A because it's closer to the Camposol shopping areas.

You might find this interactive street map useful.

Hi LeginSenoj,

Yes, the house is a Monora in C10. Facebook is a good idea, thank you very much!
Many greetings

Andy

Hi Tony,

I am very reassured by your information!
Thanks for the map, but the street name is not listed in sector C10.  On the estate agent's map it is house no. 41.

I think I still have to learn how to answer properly here in the forum, besides, I always have to translate as well. Sorry if this is not going according to plan.

Best regards

Andy

Hallo Tony,

Google translator is good, deepl is better :-)
Also in google maps the street name is not listed, google maps is my best friend by now.
And yes, we found the house via Blue Invest. And after the video call, everything is fine. My realtor can surely tell me the street name, the street goes once around the community pool in C10.

Best regards

Andy
