Legal advice when buying in Camposol

No matter how good the estate agents, if there is any dispute then it is vital that your legal people act for you, with no tie to the other side.

hi, I have just purchased on c sector (private sale) but can highly recommend Corral and Alcaras (Alberto) . I would also recommend a surveyor (cost us just under 400 euro) but discovered a few issues in the under build.. consequently the previous owner has had to withhold some of the sale money (£10,000) to repair! I wouldn't trust Mercers, and from personal experience I would not recommend PALS either. I have a solicitor who I completely trust based in Alicante but I feel she is too far away, so I didn't use her for my last purchase. Best to get someone 'on your doorstep' from recommendations. Glad to see someone has employed a surveyor for a Masa property, money well spent!

Yes they are, They are situated in the port. The sorted everything for me from obtaining Nie, sourcing surveyor (do have his details if you want them) opening bank account and changing names of utilities, I gave them power of attorney which made it a lot cheaper and easier than flying out at various points of the sale we completed the whole sale without leaving the UK.  Paid extra for a Spanish will but will sign these papers when next in Spain.

Just one final thing, I also had viewings with mercers and general feeling I came away with was that surveys are generally not done, I viewed 10 properties with them and the words said to me on a property that had gaping cracks in the wall was  " I probably would get a survey on this one"  

The surveyor in our case was worth his weight in gold, checked everything from the under build, pool pump, air con, heating, taps,tiles solarium etc. If we hadn't have paid for one we would have eventually been 10,000 down.
