Hi

Eagerly looking at the area and whilst we were set on La Torre or Roda or Mar Menor.....Campasol Golf Resort has really tickled our fancy due to the fantastic value for money!

Why are there so many properties for sale????

Is it that bad there?

Would anyone living on the resort enlighten my wife & I please as to the good, the bad .....and the ugly about the resort?

Are there lots of Brits living there giving a decent community to engage with?

Many thanks

Mark & Nicky

A lot of residents on Camposol are retired and British. When serious health issues occur at a higher age most of them decide to return to the UK because most of them don't speak Spanish very well and they prefer to have their medical issues taken care of in the UK. I can't blame them because everybody speaks English at Camposol (including all the bar & restaurant staff) so there never really was a real need to learn Spanish. Also a lot of British people changed their retirement plans after brexit. There are a lot more requirements for British people to become permanent residents in Spain post Brexit and the time they can spend in Spain as a non-resident is limited. For some that's a reason to sell their property because they won't be able to use it as often or as long as they initially planned. And let's not forget about how COVID has changed people's lives and decision making for the future. If you can't visit your second home in Spain for a couple of years that might cause you to rethink your future. To make a long story short: a variety of reasons why there are many properties for sale. On the other hand, looking at the total amount of properties on Camposol, the number of properties for sale won't exceed 10% which is not all that extraordinary in a Spanish urbanisation. Properties on Camposol have been selling fast in 2022. Good luck with your property search.

Is there so many to sell the property, works even petrol prices, the price going down for houses. Sometimes it is crying what you see and the price so high.

They are selling. The one opposite me was sold within 2 weeks and a friends sold the day it was put on the market. You need to look at camposol and make your own mind up. Try renting for a month or 2. Good luck.

The prices are the lowest in Murcia. The fact that there are so many houses for sale is because, after Brexit, many Brits can't afford to live here anymore.

Try to find houses at this price in other regions...

That argument is way too simplistic. There are more factors that determine property value.
