... but if you are looking to integrate into Spanish life, you won’t find it here, hence the suggestion to rent first. There are thousands who live here happily. If you are looking on D sector, be aware that there are some 400 to 600 houses that were built illegally on public land. There are efforts to resolve this but it is worth checking with the agent you use and your lawyer, if the property you are looking at is affected.  Renting will allow you to visit all local areas to see what suits you. As for Condado, I am sure someone here will be able to help you.

we have just completed our journey and purchased a Rebecca on D sector, yes there are some very dubious builds and a number of people with ruined dreams but with the right agent and a great solicitor you should not have any issues 

we used Dawn at 2let2sell2buy and the service was great, do not expect P's and Q's etc as Dawn is a say it how it is kinda lady, she will offer you all good advice and can hook you up with a rental if that is what you would like to do but we managed to view 40 plus properties in 24 hours and made our choice there and then 

the best solicitors around is Dennis at MMB Solicitors in Mazarron, again like Dawn he is very straight talking and does not pay commissions to estate agents and his only focus is protecting you from yourself, he will not let you buy a dodgy property 

there are so many good deals out there and look to start your offer with a 20% discount you may just be surprised at what you can achieve 

most things you need to shop around for such as White Goods etc go to somewhere like Embargo at the Alhama Industrial Estate and a few hundred visits to the Chinese shop 

you can live like kings with the right approach and shopping around

I have a 2 bedroom partment on Condado in Naranjos 8. The community fees are approx 102 euro per month. I believe it depends on what part of the resort you have the property ie think Jardines may be cheaper. It is a nice resort, ppl are friendly and bars, supermarket etc all on site....
