Hi all, I am new to this group and looking for as much information as possible. I am considering moving to Spain within the next six months or so. I'm drawn to the area of Camposol due to the property prices but I will need to work once I'm living there. I'm wondering what the situation with jobs is like, are there plenty of jobs? Also can you tell me the demographic of residents? Any general advice or information will be appreciated. I will be visiting in January so if you can advise on things to consider I would be grateful.

Camposol residents are mostly British although there are Spanish Dutch German & Portuguese people living here too. Jobs are few & far between - mainly seasonal unless you speak fluent Spanish & even then there aren’t many on Camposol itself & the rate of pay is low. Unemployment is high in Spain for the Spanish let alone anyone else.  Most  Brits living on Camposol are retired so employment isn’t an issue. There are more jobs on some of the other Costas than here in the Costa Cálida as a whole.

Best plan would be to secure a job or job offer before you make any permanent move.

As said above jobs are hard to come by around here.

The jobs that are about are seasonal, unsociable hours & low paid.

BUT the sun shines !!!
