Been reading Citizen advise for Spain.it seems requirements differ from region to region regards requirements for resedencia?So,would one uk state pension to be enough to qualify,in the Murcia area,or do you need more.Savings,etc,thanks,

One UK state pension is not enough to live on anywhere in Spain ..even if you do own your property outright... council tax is cheaper .... everything else is more expensive or approximately the same price as the UK ...you will also need some sort of transportation to get around so it is essential that you factor this in...the Spanish have no social services or help the aged to speak of...so when you get sick or house bound you will need family members or friends to look after you.

We got our residencia based on state pension as the monthly sum covers the anual minimum but it would be difficult to live on just that without either savings or other income

That's what l thought.l do have works pension.Enough to live on,and whatever.Better than uk.
