Please look under banking in this forum - lots of info i.e. Cajamar Wefferent account
Search for free banking in the search box at the top of this page.
You most definitely should not be paying to receive money these days.

Thank you for your replies but not sure I explained myself fully, I have a monthly sum of money put into my Spanish bank account, moneycorp does this and have never been charged for this as they earn out of the commission, the rates could be better at times but have no issues with them . The money is transferred into my CaixaBank account and it’s here where I incurred the charge . I my looking for a bank that does not charge for this service, alternative as I com out 3 tomes a year I bring the euros with me look forward to your replies many thanks
Close your Caixia bank account.
Search for Free Banking & Banking using the search button at the top of this page.

I use Sabadell and World First to transfer money. This week I have transferred €1000 twice and never incurred any charges. I was worried as I read on other forums about people getting charge stupid amounts since Brexit.

Due to brexit. Banks are charging to accept payments from the uk. If transferring to Spanish bank don't do it direct from uk bank. I use transferwise

You will get better rates with Trasferwise for sending your money over, you can use an app on your phone is is very fast and reliable.
I used to use moneycorp but not the greatest rates and not as straight forward as TransferWise
You can also set up direct debit payments via TransferWise too.
As for bank charges, I am with Bankia, they never used to charge, but now charge a service fee of 5 Euros a month, to be honest I can live with that, especially at the moment, as you would probably need to go into a bank and sign documents to set up new bank account.
Hope that helps

You are very lucky if Bankia are only charging you 5 euro a month.
I closed my account with them when they tried to put my charges up to 14 euro a month.

I don't think it is anything to do with Brexit at all.
Many Spanish banks have always charged to receive money.
