When we purchased our villa from an english couple who were moving back to the UK we were instructed to pay all the money except ghe 10% by way of a British bankers draft obviously in sterling. Made it simple for the sellers to deposit in their account on their return.  Hope this helps

Hi, thanks for your message. That’s fine when you’re buying British to British but as I said in my original posting we are selling and the buyer is more likely to be European in which case payment will be in €.
