Assume an extra 13% on top of the purchase price for taxes and legal fees.

I haven't any information on mortgages.

I would suggest that in these extremely uncertain times it would be unwise to think about taking on any sort of financial commitment to buy a property in Spain. If you have cash, and I mean cash you can afford to lose then go ahead, but anything else could prove financial suicide.

Remember that the affect of Covid19 on the economy will be major, and last some time, and very few people can be certain their job will be there.

Why do you think that it would be wrong to buy at this time???

Just worried as have put 10% down on a property which is valid until june but with the current situation I will not be able to complete in time!!!!

We have probably all all made decisions based upon how things were at the time. We bought a static caravan on a park last year (park closed now for Covid19) and a car to use in the UK in January (not even seen it yet!). If we had the same choices to make today we would not do either, and I would never buy a holiday house in Spain on a mortgage unless it suited for tax reasons.

I would suggest never putting your life on hold, go for it, in particular Camposol, we have proved to be a great community.

So you wait and wait, what for ?? to get older, to never do it, to say oh one day we will ??, I think not, as that one day never comes, as it has not for many who have sadly lost there lives.

Have a dream, go for it, life is to short, look at the world now.

My thoughts only.

Good Luck.

Go back to your estate agent or the solicitor involved with the purchase and get advice from them, in my opinion.......and it's just that..... Not sure anyone will complete either uk or Camposol? But I would check.....good luck. Xx

Hi, never place your life on hold, what are you waiting for?

Camposol is a good bet go for it.

What ever happens in the future you cannot control, waiting will prove nothing.

None of us know what is around the corner, who would have thought the Virus would take over and take so many lives.

I would rather be in a safe place, and no safer than a great community like CAMPOSOL.

Wait, and you will lose out.

What a positive outlook and words , Thank you. We were due to come over to buy in June, after renting on Camposol last year. We can't wait to get back over there when we are allowed and look forward to enjoying Camposol as our New home. X
