Frozen bank account

Would anyone have an email conact for the branch and why it would be frozen?

Money has regulary been transferred to pay the bills and always in credit but last deposit was returned. They have not recieved any notification why the account is blocked.

We are looking to come out to Spain to see if we can sort it but need to find out if possible and what paperwork is needed.  They have up to date passports and NIE number.

...the account has an embargo on it. Maybe a tax demand or a bill that has been returned unpaid. It could also be that the bank just needs a real person to come in and prove their existence, which they do from time to time, if they have never seen the account holder.

... this is the reason the account has been frozen.  Unless you have power of attorney you will not be able to deal with the bank.
