That was for 'FF's earlier reply. Have double checked UK-IRE, and of course you would've declared pension incomes, I'm correct about my position today here. However am in process of checking procedures with UK.Gov tax for move to Spain. Don't need a solicitor or assessor to check that. I'll update my findings C&P.
My wife and I are also planning a move to Spain, I’ve read on one Government website that you should have an income of €800 per person per month. Unsure if this changes after Brexit (with or without a deal). I’ve also read you should apply for residencia but it seems not all Brits actually do this, perhaps someone on this forum can clear that up?. There seems to be mixed information on whether your private pension will be taxed by the British or Spanish Government. Thankfully I’m seeking professional advice at the end of the month as the websites available are a myriad of conflicting information. Good luck on your move.
I'd be very interested in your results if you don't mind updating.

Hi hi it would be very helpful to me and my wife if if you could give us some information as to what you have been told also so what solicitors did you use and roughly if it's not cheeky how much did it cost for their advice best regards Chris and Pat
We’re meeting financial and property experts on the 27th October. I’ll post on this thread all the info that I get. I thought the most complicated thing was going to be registering and taxing my car! (we intend to drive to Spain). But have to admit today was the first time I’d read up on minimum income etc. Fingers crossed we know by 27th if we’re crashing out of Europe without a deal, know what the no deal means to those of us planning to move and/or know if there’s going to be another delay/extension.
