Non residence tax for 2021

The calculation for INR (non residence tax) before Brexit was 19% but this now increases to 24% because we,re no longer an EU country. I mistook this figure thinking our tax payment would only go up by 5%, but I was wrong. I expected therefore our payment of 200€ would become 210€. Oh no, the extra 5% is against the cadastral value not payment and now our new payment is in fact 252€ a differrence of 25%. Our gestor had to explain it to me as it was a shock. Hope this alerts other non residents thinking the same as ourselves and prewarned prior to paying.

So I filled in online tax form with Spanish tax forms Ltd

The bill is going to be £204.26 that includes non residence tax 174.79€. I went onto others and same tax came up. Really easy to fill out I got ibi invoice by emailing them which gives you info you need
