STARLING BANKING

Hi, can anyone tell me if it's possible to pay direct debits (e.g. water/electric) from a Starling bank account. Many thanks.

I’ve just tried this but PALs solicitors said I couldn’t as starling use a GB IBAN code.
I’m in the process of leaving Caixabank and going to use WISE for debits which the solicitors are sorting. I have since found out that starling should legally be accepted as they a part of sepa but clearly my solicitors don’t know that

Many thanks, I'm aware of this problem, but don't seem to have any choice. I'll go with wise.

Pals set me up with Caxia a couple of years ago when I bought over here but I’m now with wise.
I managed to sort the electric dd but the water company wouldn’t respond to email so pals did it and didn’t charge me.
