If you use the Compusurf Internet service (find them on Camposol B) , they will load an Amazon Firestick (which they can also supply, or you can buy one via Amazon) with a KODI app which will give you access to UK content via their feed. They don't charge for the feed, but will charge a small fee to set up the Firestick for you. You would need an Amazon account.
I would suggest taking their VPN service too.

With a Firestick, you could also have Disney+, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Paramount & Apple TV, if you suscribe to them. Appropriate accounts would be required.

There are other, rather hooky internet services about. I would avoid them.

Your 'Smart' TV may be able to access BBC iPLayer, ITVx, More 4 & 5 onlline services. You will need to set up accounts for each of them. I strongly suggest using a UK address. :)

Alternatively or in addition (as is the case for us) . You might also have a satellite TV dish at your property. Many new Smart TVs have a satellite receiver built in. Our LG does. It happily receives most UK broadcasts in HD. That includes subtitles, Which can be problematic with some of the Internet feeds,

My wife finds the satellite system on our LG far easier to use than the internet services, which she actively avoids using. If a programme she wants is only available via an internet feed, I have to set it up for her,
BBC channels are proving to be an issue lately via satellite. The BBC are dropping all their satelliet SD channels & rolling them into HD transmissions. BBC 1  London has effectively disappeared from our satellite reception.

BBC 2, 3 & 4 are fine, as are ITV,Ch 4, 5 and their +1s.

I'm happy to help further, if I can.

Regards

Tony

Hi Alan

the easiest option is a loaded Fire stick, but if you are tech savy you can do the following on your smart TV

1, download a VPN to your smart TV

2, select a UK location

3, download all the Iplayers, BBC, ITV, All4 and My5

4, the VPN will trick the players to thinking they are in the UK

the above would give you free TV

alternatively I have a Firestick that has certain software on it that allows me to have 13500 channels and 20000 films for £130 for 5 years access (the price changes at certain times but £130 is normally about the most

hope that helps

That depends on what software you have on your fire stick to be honest

Personally I would think the options differ depending on whether you are resident or not.

Being a non resident and not wanting to pay for a service for a whole year when we are not around that often I would suggest the Compusurf option as mentioned previously is probably the best, quickest and cheapest option.

If you are a resident and intend to watch a lot of TV then there are a number of other options available to you
