We are soon moving into Camposol. We are planning to use Compusurf internet service (Hotspot Stream Package). Does anyone have problem with using Skype on this system in Camposol ?
Also, can anyone recommend any other fast and most importantly, reliable internet service ?
Is there fibre in Camposol in Upper 'C' Sector (Calle Retama)?
Your inputs are most appreciated.
We use Skype with Compusurf no problems

I use Compusurf Hotspot Surf & Skype works OK on that most of the time.
However as with all this sort of internet access it can be somewhat weather dependent.

Fibre is available all over Camposol from Telitec.
Fibre as in fibre cable NOT as Telitec say in their adverts fibre OPTIC.......................
bit misleading I would say.

Can you please explain the Telitec "Fibre Optic" or Fibre "Cable" difference as Im thinking of getting this service if I can - do you have this service and if so are you happy?
Well I am not technically minded but briefly.............
Fibre optic cable is used for the main artery cables in the network NOT the cables to the property. No way have Teltec put fibre optic to each property !!

The cables that have been installed on Camposol to each property are just bog standard coaxial cables.Open the cabinet outside your property & look inside the little grey box you will see the coaxial cables.
I don't have it & never will. The cost is a bit silly, I believe the starting price is 40 euro per month PLUS high upfront set up & installation costs.
And anyway who needs a speed of 300mb............???
