Hi, I hope my input is of some use to you. If I was in your position of not driving, I would opt for a property on B sector. The reason being is that is where the supermarket and most of the restaurants are. Who wants to be carrying heavy shopping in the heat of summer? Also, don't let the fear of floods sway your decision of where to buy, we have friends further up the coast and they have just suffered ANOTHER flooding situation, twice in two years. So, yes Camposol has its issues, but it is not unique in this it can happen anywhere. Maybe you could join one of the many clubs that are on offer on the development and arrange beach days, shopping trips etc. I'm sure there are always people willing to organise such things and bring people together. Good luck with your move, sorry I couldn't have been more helpful regarding transport.

Hello again. I can't really say on what is available by way of "public/private" transport as we both drive and, at the moment, use our place as a holiday home only. Can't say I've ever seen a train running to the beach from Camposol. There used to be a small train ran from "D" Sector picking up and dropping off along the way to and from the centre on "B". (Useful for those heavy bags of shopping). Unfortunately I've not seen this for while, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Are you planning a trip across to view property soon. If so, I would have a word with the estate agents and see if they have any information on what you seek. They may be able to suggest ways of getting over the problem of not having personal transport. Lastly, you could always buy a little moped/scooter/4wheel bike...... Hahaha. Good luck, keep in touch let me know how you get on.😄

Hi, type in to your search engine, Visitcamposol, a useful webpage,it has bus timetables from Alhama right through to Puerto De Mazarron where the beach is.

You can contact them to ensure this is up to date..

Alhama is in the region of Murcia, out towards Totana.... If you could ascertain if the the train is still running, then I suppose it doesn't matter where you buy. However, I wouldn't rely on that form of transport to get me about particularly if I didn't drive. Our place is on C sector and approximately one mile from the supermarket and restaurants of B sector. Nice walk, but a killer in the heat of summer, especially carrying bags. A sector is quite nice, but the shopping is limited. Of course, the weekly outdoor market is held there in the car park and is very good. For me, the better choice if driving is an issue, would be B sector and its facilities, I.e. bank, shopping, bars/restaurants . It's only a short walk across the footbridge to A sector and its amenities. Have you decided on what type of property you would like to purchase as this may influence your decision on which sector to choose. I hope all goes well for you and let me be the first to welcome you to Camposol.

You are right, I was forgetting for a moment. The sectors are basically all the same in the types of houses they have. It's also no bother chatting to you, I just hope you find some of this useful.
