Hello

We are coming over 30th March to view some properties to possibly purchase. Looking at best (and cheapest) way to get from Murcia Airport to Camposol Section D. Hiring a car seems to be a bit of a mine field. We only have debit cards or cash, don't have a credit card. Any suggestions welcome. Plane comes in at 11.10am so I think we will miss the one bus that I have seen advertised. Thanks Gill

I have been hiring cars in Spain ...for the last 12 years and you will need a credit card ..car hire companies will not let you have a vehicle without one ...if you want trouble free car hire in Spain all you need to do is take out the insurance policy that they offer you bump the car up and you can walk away this insurance is expensive ...or if you have taken a private insurance policy out ( costs around £60 per year) they will take around €1,000 as a deposit and providing you return the car Back as you had it they return your deposit ...this is what I do...if you bump the car up they will keep your deposit ...you then claim the  deposit back from your own car hire insurance company.

Hi Gill52

I agree with Happycat, flamenca cars are your best bet, We wouldn’t use anyone else. You pay the set price and return on a full tank, you may pay a little more but no hassle and they all speak English, you’re greeted at the airport and taken to your car. Give them a try 👍

Thanks again for the helpful replies, have gone with Flamenca, £75 for 3 days, all in, no deposit, very good deal as far as I am concerned :-)

Hi gill52... try FCRent A Car.

On line.....they have an officers on Camposol and in Alicante.

They will pick you up at either airport and will take cash €-€ €.

You can leave the car at the airport on your return or they will take you back to the airport.

Hope this helps.

Good luck....

Gloria
