Is there public transport to all sectors, every day and how often?

Is there a reputable taxi service?

All advice is very much appreciated as this is my first post and I'm trying to begin getting good honey advice prior to coming over to look for a property as soon as the lockdown is over

Thanks Ricky

No public transport at all on Camposol when we moved here last year. There is (was) a community bus but at last look (admittedly a while ago now) it was a membership/book in advance scheme. As we both drive (when allowed) didn't look any further, others on site might know if it is still operational and costs.

If you wish to move to Camposol, you will need personal transport. INMHO.

As Phil said, there is a 'Community Mini-Bus' service that is via bookings only.

Some homes on Sector A & B are within easy walking distance of the small business area on A or the main business centre on B.

Other shopping locations, Mazarron, Puerto De Mazarron, Totana & Alhama De Murcia can be reached by a bus service that ONLY stops in Sector A.

For day to day getting about, your own transport is a must. I think.

Have a look at Camposol on Google Maps or Google Earth to get an idea of the size of the town and the area around us.

Hi Phil many thanks for your speedy reply and update as to what’s available at the moment.

I must admit I’m very surprised that for such a large residential area no public or perhaps even private service has been established as yet.

We’re still going to book a weeks holiday for hopefully the end of this year or possibly early next year as reading a lot of topical discussions on this forum it appears that there are a large amount of happy, friendly people Who live and enjoy this particular area.

Kind regards Ricky

Hi Ricky

There are only buses going to port from A sector and to the airport.

As others have said there is a community bus but it only runs 3 times a week during the day at certain times that you join, pre book and will take you to A or B. Sometimes on other days they arrange a day out outside camposol and they were doing a once weekly evening service to A or B.

You will need a car in my opinion.

There are some residents that will give you a ' lift ' to A or B. There are no legal taxis based on Camposol which is a shame.

Good luck and all the best with your search.

Hi Ricky67

Yes there is public transport on Camposol..... goes from outside Parmacy opposite side of road, there is a large concrete block...this is the seat/bus stop.. ..on sector A... takes you into bus station in Mazarron....there are others but don't have times or timetable, it can be downloaded from internet, but at this moment in time nothing is moving due to Covid19.

Hope this helps.
